As a Rendering Programmer, you will enhance and maintain the graphics and rendering systems of our cutting edge projects in development. Work directly with our advanced technical minds and collaborating with a broad set of team members including gameplay programmers, artists, game designers, and level designers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Write, maintain, and modify high quality C++ code in Unreal Engine 4/5 to implement and enhance rendering techniques
  • Analyze, optimize, and improve rendering pathways and content creation workflows.
  • Diagnose and fix rendering bugs, and profile and optimize rendering code as necessary
  • Work closely with artists and other engineers to meet visual and technical goals
  • Use company-provided workstation hardware, console dev kits, and video game industry standard software tools such as Visual Studio and Perforce to perform your work
  • Educate colleagues on implemented features and rendering technologies 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with a Major in Game Development or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and relevant professional experience in Game Development.
  • Expertise in current game rendering pipelines and techniques
  • 2+ years of graphics programming experience
  • 1+ shipped AAA video game title credit
  • Excellent C/C++, multi-threading, low-level engine experience, and 3D math / linear algebra skills
  • Experience with modern graphics APIs, GPU shaders, GPU hardware, and common performance bottlenecks
