The Gearbox Entertainment Company is looking for a Graphic Artist to join its Communications team and help support our products and growing community of fans.  


Responsibilities:


  • Plans concept by studying information and plans to create visual assets for social marketing campaigns and PR beats.  
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
  • Completes projects by coordinating with outside creative agencies, art services, printers, etc.
  • Participate in the social brand visual style guide creation and its application across all our assets.
  • Ensure all assets created reach required quality level and are in coherence with the artistic direction and visual identity of each video game title.
  • Work closely with Comms and PR teams, as well as additional Gearbox teams to ensure social assets are consistent with each IP.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal and external departments


Education and Experience:


  • 5+ years of relevant multi-platform creative experience which includes print, digital, social, and mobile
  • A strong portfolio that showcases ambitious design and marketing
  • Demonstrated understanding and proven aptitude for design principles, information architecture, typography and layout
  • Proven expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work methodically, meet deadlines, work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
